News: Note the dates for the trainings, not all are the first Saturday (after the first Tuesday). There are 2 weekend trainings.

Make sure that you have your ID badges at all call-outs. They will be used for checking in and checking out. Those people who do not have one contact Les Townsend (399-8154) at the Sheriff's Office.

The Winter Survival seminar went well, especially since it was on short notice.

The Sheriff's Office will be having our annual Appreciation Dinner. Right now it is tentatively going to be May 1, 6:00 pm at the Pavilion at the Weber County Fairgrounds. When the date is definite we will let everyone know and will need a head count. (Spouses included)

The Sheriff's office is looking to have a dog team. Still in the planning stage.

Law Enforcement Week, there will be booths at Weber State University again. The Sheriff's Office has asked Mountain Rescue and Underwater Recovery to participate. We will need people to man the booth.

We will be having a new Outdoor Emergency Care class starting in April (hopefully). Those people interested contact Colette.
